PREPARE EBOOK FILE

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING FILE FOR EBOOK FORMATTING
  1. Before submitting for ebook formatting please ensure you file is 100% fully edited, proofed and corrected. This is your final chance to make any changes without incurring a charge and may involve restarting the process again. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP!
  2. KEEP STANDARD FONTS such as Times New Roman or Courier New. Other fonts may not convert to ebook well, including any strange characters, symbols or italics.
  3. Please DO NOT INCLUDE any page numbers, headers, footers or indexes.
  4. Remove any tables (if any) within the text as this will not display correctly once the process is converted. 
  5. FONT SIZES: I recommend supplying the body text in 10-12pt size and the Chapter headings at 14-18 size.
  6. All images must be supplied separately as jpeg files at least 72dpi resolution and in RGB format. 
  7. Copyright page must also be included in the preliminary pages at the beginning and include the ISBN number and any credits etc.
  8. TEXT FORMATTING: Please be consistent with the line formatting. DO NOT USE THE SPACEBAR or TAB FOR PARAGRAPHS or line breaks. ONLY USE RETURN FOR NEW PARAGRAPHS. You may keep the text left aligned. For TEXT BREAKS insert *** to specify where exactly you want the text break. 
  9. DO NOT USE DROP CAPS as they may not display or be supported on various devices. 

Each ebook will pass the IDPF validation & industry-standard.
